Peranan Psikolinguistik dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab

Fenomena bahasa dan berbahasa adalah hal yang erat kaitannyadengan kehidupan manusia. Bahasa merupakan kajian ilmu linguistik, dimana ia dipelajari sebagai bahasa yang mencakup beberapa komponen:fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik. Sedangkan berbahasa merupakankajian psikolinguistik, yang mengkaji kegiatan manusia dalam memperoleh(acquitation), meresepsi (reception) dan memproduksi (production) bahasa.Berbahasa dimulai dari enkode simantik dan sintaksis dalam otak penuturdan berujung pada dekode simantik dan dekode sintaksis dalam otakpendengar. Hasil kajian psikolinguistik banyak dimanfaatkan dalammemahami pemerolehan bahasa pertama maupun dalam pembelajaranbahasa kedua atau bahasa asing. Pasalnya, ruang lingkup kajian psiko-linguistik sangat bermanfaat bagi pembelajaran bahasa. Di dalamkurikulum pendidikan bahasa, mata kuliah psikolinguistik dimasukkandalam kelompok mata kuliah proses belajar-mengajar, bukan padakelompok mata kuliah linguistik/kebahasaan. Hal ini karena pokok bahasandalam psikolinguistik sangat erat kaitannya dengan kegiatan proses belajar-mengajar bahasa itu. Tulisan ini mencoba memaparkan pengertian danruang lingkup psikolinguistik, pembelajaran bahasa Arab, kemudianmenguraikan peranan dan signifikansi psikolinguitik dalam pembelajaranbahasa Arab yang dijabarkan melalui unsur-unsur kurikulum pembelajar-an bahasa Arab (tujuan, materi, metode, evaluasi) dan prinsip-prinsippembelajaran bahasa.
