Abstract

Pada zaman modern ini orang tua semakin sadar bahwapendidikan merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok yang tidakbisa ditawar-tawar. Oleh sebab itu tidak mengherankan pulabahwa semakin banyak orang tua yang merasa perlu cepat-cepatmemasukkan anaknya ke sekolah sejak usia dini. Pendidikan anakusia dini merupakan pendidikan yang sangat mendasar danstrategis dalam pembangunan sumberdaya manusia. Karenabagaimanpun mempersiapkan anak sejak dini berarti tlahmempersiapkan armada perang yang memiliki modal yang lebihdari cukup untuk menyongsong masa depan.Upaya pendidikan anak tidak akan lepas dari systempendidikan yang diterapkan. System pendidikan Islam sebagaisebuah system pendidikan yang berbasiskan Islam memilikitujuan-tujuan untuk membentuk generasi msa depan yangberkualitas pemimpin, yakni generasi pemimpin yangberkepribadian Islam dengan penguasaan tsaqofah Islam yangluas, dan menguasai ilmu kehidupan (sains dan teknologi) yangmemadai.Tulisan ini berusaha membahas suatu konsep pendidikananak usia dini dalam prespektif system pendidikan Islam. Suatukonsep pendidikan yang berasaskan pada Islam sebagai landasanteoritis pendidikan Islam yang dimulai sejak kandungan denganmetode-metode pendidikan yang lebih mengutamakan konsepketauhidan sebagai dasar hidup.
