Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi kuliner Indonesia dalam film Aruna & Lidahnya. Film ini membahas mengenai kuliner khas dari beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Representasi kuliner indonesia ditunjukkan melalui petualangan kuliner yang dilakukan Aruna dan teman-temannya untuk memuaskan keinginan demi mendapatkan citarasa, resep dan gaya makan baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kuliner daerah ditampilkan sebagai kuliner yang mengagumkan dan tidak mudah dilupakan. Kuliner daerah dicitrakan sebagai kuliner pinggiran, kuliner kelas bawah. Representasi kuliner Indonesia dalam film Aruna & Lidahnya menunjukkan bahwa kuliner Jakarta memiliki kelas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kuliner khas beberapa daerah yang disebutkan dalam film.Downloads
