Jawaban atas tantangan global bagi lembaga pendidikan adalah terciptanya komunikasi pendidikan efektif guna menghasilkan output yang optimal. Budaya organisasi digambarkan sebagai komponen komunikasi yang mampu membantu terciptanya komunikasi pendidikan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran budaya organisasi dalam membangun komunikasi pendidikan berbasis multikulturalisme dan teknologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Informan yang dilibatkan antara lain satu kepala sekolah, enam pamong dan 10 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pola Milles dan Huberman. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran budaya organisasi dalam membentuk komunikasi pendidikan yang efektif berbasis multikulturalisme dan teknologi di SMA Taruna Negara Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki kontribusi besar dalam menciptakan komunikasi efektif berbasis multikulturalisme dan teknologi. Budaya organisasi terbentuk melalui implementasi desain komunikasi internalisasi perilaku dengan pendekatan berlapis dari tingkat kelas, sekolah hingga graha. Desain tersebut meliputi nilai toleransi, nilai wawasan kebangsaan, peningkatan prestasi akademik dan literasi teknologi. Nilai yang berkaitan dengan multikulturalisme meliputi toleransi, kerjasama, kedisiplinan, kebebasan memberikan kritik dan saran, serta komunikasi dua arah. Sedangkan nilai terkait teknologi adalah pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis kreatifitas dan tanggung jawab sosial.

Abstract

The answer of global challenges for educational institutions is the creation of effective educational communication for optimal output. Organizational culture is described as a communication component that can help create effective educational communication. This study aims to describe the role of organizational culture in building educational communication based on multiculturalism and technology. The research method was descriptive qualitative analytic. Data collection through observation, interviews and literature study. The informants included head,aster, six teachers and 10 students. While the data analysis technique used the Milles and Huberman pattern. This study analyzed the role of organizational culture in forming effective educational communication based on multiculturalism and technology in SMA Taruna Negara, Central Java. The results showed that organizational culture has a major contribution in creating effective communication based on multiculturalism and technology. Organizational culture is formed through the implementation of behavioral internalization communication designs with a layered approach from the class, school to housekeeping level. The design includes the value of tolerance, the value of national insight, increased academic achievement and technological literacy. Values related to multiculturalism include tolerance, cooperation, discipline, freedom to give criticism and suggestions, and two-way communication. Meanwhile, the value related to technology is the use of technology based on creativity and social responsibility.
