About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Economics and Philanthropy (JIEP) [E-ISSN: 2655-335X P-ISSN: 3032-6656], a leading national and international journal, provides a forum for publishing quality research in the areas of Islamic Economics and Philanthropy. JIEP is published by Department of Islamic Economic, Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo and cooperates with the Economics and Finance Lecturers Association of Istanbul Zaim University (IZU), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Sharia Economics Lecturer Association or Asosiasi Dosen Ekonomi Syariah (ADESy), and Komite Nasional Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah (KNEKS). It is published four times a year: in February, May, August, and November. JIEP accepts articles that use quantitative and qualitative approaches. It uses English and Indonesian manuscripts.

All styles of research, theoretical and empirical, case studies, practice-based papers and research notes that are well written and falling within the journal's scope, are generally welcomed by the journal.

JIEP aims to make a significant contribution to the advancement of Islamic economics and philanthropy knowledge based on Islamic teaching and to have a positive impact on the welfare of people around the world. JIEP welcomes pioneering contributions from economists, practitioners, and scientific experts in Islamic economics at Islamic Institutions.
