ANALISIS KETERBATASAN PENERAPAN NORMA KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA DI INDONESIA PADA INDUSTRI TEKSTIL DAN PRODUK TEKSTIL

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul dari globalisasi ekonomi yang masih sering diabaikan adalah terkait dengan berbagai hak-hak mendasar para pekerja, termasuk salah satunya adalah mengenai keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai keterbatasan penerapan norma internasional di Indonesia secara efektif dalam konteks standar keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja pada industri tekstil dan produk tekstil secara kualitatif. Data-data penelitian didapatkan melalui berbagai laporan kepatuhan dari Better Work Indonesia dan juga melalui sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder yang diolah dengan menggunakan metode penelusuran proses. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa masih terdapat banyak permasalahan struktural dan teknis yang harus dibenahi oleh Pemerintah Indonesia dan para pemangku kebijakan lainnya secara menyeluruh. Keinginan politik Pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengubah dan memperbaharui status quo yang ada sangat penting dalam upaya untuk dapat memperbaiki kondisi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di tengah ekonomi dunia yang semakin bergantung satu dengan yang lainnya.Kata Kunci: keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja; norma internasional; tekstil dan produk tekstil
