Pengembangan Model Sistem Dinamik untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Distribusi Pupuk Urea (Studi Kasus: PT Petrokimia Gresik)

Abstract
Sektor agraris atau pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor yang dijadikan andalan untuk menggerakan perekonomian indonesia. Untuk menciptakan hasil pertanian yang berkualitas, pupuk menjadi salah satu komponen penting yang dapat meningkatkan kuantitas serta kualitas panen. Agar pupuk tersebut dapat tersalurkan dengan baik hingga sampai ketangan para petani, diperlukan adanya sistem distribusi pupuk yang optimal. Namun, terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang menghambat proses distribusi pupuk tersebut salah satunya adalah pengeluaran biaya distribusi yang cukup tinggi. Mengacu kepada permasalahan tersebut, maka diusulkan penelitian berbentuk tugas akhir ini yang memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja distribusi pupuk urea pada Kabupaten Mojokerto. Peningkatan kinerja distribusi ini dikhususkan untuk dapat mengurangi biaya distribusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sistem dinamik, yang dipilih karena mampu mendefinisikan sistem distribusi pupuk yang ada dengan baik, serta mampu melakukan simulasi terhadap variabel-variabel yang berkaitan dengan sistem tanpa mengubah jalannya sistem. Setelah model sistem dinamik terbentuk, akan dilakukan tahap penyusunan skenario dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap beberapa input yang berbeda untuk mengetahui dampak pada outputnya. Skenario yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini adalah skenario untuk menyesuikan jumlah buruh angkut dengan kapasitas produksi dan skenario untuk meminimalkan jumlah pupuk yang rusak. Dengan dilakukannya kedua skenario tersebut, biaya distribusi pupuk urea ke Kabupaten Mojokerto oleh PT Petrokimia Gresik dapat berkurang sebesar Rp143.110.984,00. Dilakukannya penelitian ini sekaligus dapat dijadikan acuan bagi PT Petrokimia Gresik untuk menurunkan biaya distribusi pupuk agar dapat berjalan dengan lebih optimal.References
