Tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah membentuk generasiberkualitas pemimpin yang memiliki ciri sebagai insan yangshalih, sehat, cerdas, dan peduli bangsa. Seorang pemimpin yangmampu mengenalkan manusia akan perannya di antara sesamasebagai pribadi yang bertanggung jawab, mengenalkan manusiaakan interaksi social dan alam sekitar serta mengenalkan manusiaakan pencipta.Dalam upaya mengenalkan manusia pada interaksi sosialdan tanggung jawab dalam tata hidup bermasyarakat tidak lepasdari masalah moral dan etika dalam berinteraksi. Di sini posisiakhlak mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap individumanusia dan komunitas masyarakat. Dalam kaitannya denganhal itu, pendidikan moral merupakan hal yang signifikan dalammembentuk generasi berkualitas pemimpin yang berakhlak.Beberapa prinsip pendidikan moral telah banyak kita temukandalam sistem pendidikan islam, diantaranya prinsip pendidikanmoral yang terkandung dalam surat An-Nur ayat 30-31 yangberkenaan dengan akhlak dalam berinterakasi dalam sebuahkomunitas kehidupan. Suatu prinsip pendidikan islam yang dikajidalam prespektif psikologi Islam yang dinilai berdasarkan aspekkejiwaan manusia, etika, dan aqidah keislaman itu sendiri.
