Abstract

Perkembangan generasi bangsa dimasa kini tanpa dipandu dengan imandan taqwa hanya akan menambah keserakahan dan kecongkakan generasi yangakan dating yang mengantarkan mereka pada malapetaka dan kehancuran. Halini disebabkan oleh jauhnya system pendidikan kita dari nilai Islam dan teladanRosulullah sebagai suri teladan yang terbaik bagi segenep ummatnya. Nilai Islamdan teladan Rasulullah termaktub dalam konsep penddidikan Islam yang sudahdidesaign sedemikian rupa untuk mewujudkan kehidupan individu dan socialyang menjunjung tinggi nilai kehidupan dan menyelaraskan antara kebutuhandunia dan akhirat. Makalah ini mengangkat konsepsi pendidikan Islam yangmenekankan pada pendidikan akhlak dengan segala bentuk prisip-prinsipnyayang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai Islam.
