Problem Multikulturalisme Dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam

Pendidikan Islam selalu mengalami perkembangan. Seiring dengan
perkembangan tersebut banyak hal yang dialami dunia pendidikan Islam.
Mulai dari hal-hal yang bersifat mendukung perkembangan tersebut hingga
tantangan pemikiran yang datang dari luar. Di antara tantangan pemikiran
tersebut adalah munculnya wacana multikulturalisme yang mencoba
untuk menyelesaikan konflik sosial-budaya. Paham tersebut berupaya
untuk mengakomodir keragaman etnis, budaya, suku, bahkan agama.
Seiring dengan perkembangan tersebut paham multikulturalisme
mulai masuk ke ranah pendidikan Islam. Dan di antara pemikiran yang
digagas melalui paham tersebut adalah paham pluralisme agama,
relativisme kebenaran, rekonstruksi penafsiran al-Qur’an, dan juga
religiositas dalam beragama. Beragam tantangan tersebut sebenarnya telah
disikapi oleh Majelis Ulama Indonesia. Pada tahun 2005, MUI telah
mengeluarkan fatwa yang mengharamkan paham Pluralisme Agama.
Sebab, paham Pluralisme Agama merupakan inti dari wacana
multikulturalisme agama.
Dalam pandangan Islam, paham multikulturalisme yang mencoba
untuk mengaburkan konsep Tuhan merupaham hal yang tidak dapat
dipandang remeh. Sebab konsep Tuhan adalah poin utama yang harus
ditananmkan kepada peserta didik. Untuk itu, pendidikan Islam sudah
seharusnya menanamkan konsep Tuhan melalui konsep yang sesuai dengan
Islam yaitu konsep Adab.
