Abstract

The problem that occurs in the acclimatization stage is the composition of the media. The right media composition can increase growth and success during acclimatization. This research is a one-factor experiment, which was prepared based on a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with the factor being the composition of the planting media. Data analysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and further tests used the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT) 5%. Correlation analysis is used to observe correlations between observed variables. The results showed that the combination of soil and sand media showed better results in terms of the percentage of live seedlings and the average height of the seedlings during acclimatization. The composition of soil media, cow manure, and sand gave better results in terms of the number of leaves and the number of shoots. Correlation analysis gave results in the form of a positive correlation between plant height, number of leaves, and number of seed shoots. Insignificant correlation analysis was obtained from the correlation between the number of leaves and the number of beneng taro shoots, so that increasing the number of leaves on beneng taro seedlings due to the influence of media composition treatment had no effect on increasing the number of shoots, and vice versa.
