Abstract

RIKKA PRIHATININGSIH. The Effectiveness of Virtual Account Implementation in The School Payment at SMPIT Al Azhar Jaya Indonesia Bekasi City. In the Guidance Silvi Reni Cusyana. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Virtual Account implementation in the school payment system at SMPIT Al Azhar Jaya Indonesia, Bekasi City, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine the perceptions of parents and administrative staff regarding its use. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of Virtual Account has been effective in improving the efficiency of school financial administration. The system accelerates payment processes, enhances the accuracy of transaction records, and strengthens financial transparency. Supporting factors include strong collaboration between the school and the bank, staff competence in managing the system, and adequate technological infrastructure. Nevertheless, some challenges remain, such as limited understanding among certain parents and occasional technical disruptions in the banking system. Overall, both parents and administrative staff have positive perceptions of the Virtual Account system, appreciating its convenience, efficiency, and security. Therefore, the Virtual Account payment model can serve as an innovative example of effective, efficient, and accountable digital financial management in schools.   Keywords: Virtual Account, school payment system, effectiveness, financial administration, qualitative.
