Patterns of Knowledge Integration in Islamic Boarding Schools: A Study of Naquib Al Attas' Thoughts
الملخص
This article discusses the pattern of integration of knowledge in Islamic boarding schools with the study of Naquib Al Attas's thoughts. Efforts to integrate knowledge are one fairly good step in increasing Islamic values in the development of knowledge, including providing answers to the challenges of the times and helping students to be more critical and understand knowledge as a whole. In the context of this study, the researcher examines the title to analyze in depth the correlation of Naquib Al Attas's thoughts regarding the Islamization of knowledge with the current state of education in Islamic boarding schools. The approach chosen by the researcher to study the theme is a qualitative approach with the type of Library study research. As for the discussion section, the researcher makes three main points to deeply dissect the theme, namely regarding the pattern of interaction of knowledge according to Naquib Al Attas's thoughts which include the concept of correct knowledge and the influence of this concept on the pattern of integration, implementation of the pattern of integration in Islamic boarding schools, and the suitability and obstacles in integrating knowledge according to Al Attas with actual conditions in Islamic boarding schools.
