Abstrak

Adopting technology in education is not just about using digital tools per se, it also requires a deep understanding of how best to integrate technology, pedagogy, and lesson content. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the components of TPACK that are relevant in the learning context of Islamic Religious Education and how the development is carried out by the teacher. This type of research is library research. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the effective use of technology is a challenge because technology adds new variables to planning and teaching tasks. The TPACK framework describes the unrestricted and open interaction between technology, pedagogy and content to demonstrate how effective teaching with technology is possible. In addition, the application of TPACK to teaching tasks with technology requires a context-bound understanding of technology, in which technology can be selected and reused to meet very specific pedagogical and content-related requirements from various educational contexts, especially Islamic religious education. TPACK, however, provides teachers with tools to deal with complexity by offering teachers a framework that helps them achieve meaningful and authentic integration of technology into the classroom by understanding the specific interactions between and between the sets of major components that make up TPACK in different contexts. Then the TPACK development approach can be carried out by the teacher, namely the "PCK to TPACK, TPK to TPACK approach and simultaneously developing PCK and TPACK".
