STRATEGI OPTIMALISASI MANAJEMEN PELAYANAN DAN INFORMASI MELALUI SIAKAD (SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK): STUDI KASUS DI YAYASAN PPTQ AL MANAN, TULUNGAGUNG, JAWA TIMUR
Abstract
The rapid development of information technology has driven Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) that have formal educational institutions to implement digital systems. Digital systems are now not only applied in universities but are also widely used in educational institutions based on pesantren, where 100% of the students are pesantren residents. The advancement of information technology should be utilized as an innovation and educational transformation tool to achieve shared, efficient, and effective goals. One such effort is the implementation of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD), both in formal and non-formal settings, aimed at optimizing the management of academic and administrative data transparently through SIAKAD, which connects all related stakeholders, including administrators such as dorm leaders, teachers at the pesantren, and formal educational organizations such as educators, administrative staff, and student guardians. This study aims to analyze the optimization strategies in academic services, both formal and non-formal, through the use of SIAKAD. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis results show that the use of SIAKAD supports academic administration and student data management. The findings indicate that optimization strategies in using SIAKAD (formal and non-formal) include technology infrastructure, human resource (HR) competence, financial support for funding, and regular monitoring and evaluation. Furthermore, the results show that SIAKAD helps reduce administrative errors and accelerates the academic reporting process (both formal and non-formal). Therefore, the implementation of SIAKAD can optimize information management in a more structured manner .Downloads
