Abstract

This study discusses the model of Islamic education in the family for the formation of early childhood morals in Buntu Barana Village, Curio District, Enrekang Regency, which aims to (1) describe a picture of early childhood morals in families in Buntu Barana Village, Curio District, Enrekang Regency, (2) analyzing the model of Islamic education in the family on the formation of early childhood morals in Buntu Barana Village, Curio District, Enrekang Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. The research instrument is the researcher himself assisted by other instruments. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study found that (1) the description of the morals of early childhood in Buntu Barana village always gets guidance and coaching, especially from parents, (2) The model of Islamic education in the family that parents apply in shaping children's morals is by introducing Allah and the Messenger through learning monotheism and faith, through democratic parenting, authoritarian  parenting and liberal parenting
