الملخص

Education in the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era faces great challenges in preparing the younger generation to become individuals who are resilient, characterized, and able to adapt quickly. Buya Hamka's thoughts, which emphasize moral values, integrity, and local wisdom, can be used as a foundation for developing character education that is strong and has integrity. Education that focuses on the formation of superior character is indispensable in building a generation that is able to survive and thrive amidst the uncertainty of an increasingly complex world. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research aims to examine Buya Hamka's thoughts as a form of educational transformation in the VUCA era, and how the values taught by Buya Hamka can help produce individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have strong mental and moral toughness. By combining Buya Hamka's teachings on education with the needs of the VUCA era, it is hoped that students will not only be ready to face the challenges of fast-evolving technology and information, but also have a strong moral foundation and the social skills needed to contribute positively in society. Through this approach, education can be a means to create a generation that is not only intelligent, but also wise and has integrity.   Keywords: Buya Hamka, character education, integrity, VUCA era.
