الملخص
This article talks about the liberalization of knowledge and its impact on Islamic education in Indonesia. This is taken from the background because education is one of the main focuses of the targets of the liberalization movement. The influence of the spread of the liberalism movement has influenced Muslim thinkers in Indonesia to bring up new innovations in the educational process. The research method in this article uses descriptive analysis obtained through library research, with relevant sources, such as books, journals, theses, dissertations, and so on. Before leading to an understanding of the relevance of the existence of educational liberalization in Indonesia, the author first presents a systematic explanation of the liberalization of Islamic education. This is very applicable, because it aims to find out the integration between the pattern of knowledge liberalization and the education system presented by Islam. The results of this study conclude that the impact caused by the liberalism movement has a major influence, at the same time also in the development of knowledge, so that this influence ultimately influences the essence of education in Indonesia.
