Analisis Pembentukan Bahasa Arab Gontori
الملخص
Darussalam Gontor Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools that applies language learning, especially Arabic and English. However, in its application, there are many uses of Arabic that are not fusha. However, in daily life, the application of language in Gontor, especially Arabic, new vocabulary appears around the santri through a shortening process, as is the case in the application of Indonesian which is called acronyms, blending and clipping which in Arabic rules is called An-Naht. This article aims to describe the rules of word formation and shifts in word formation, especially in acronyms, blending, and clipping and to find out the causes of the emergence of new vocabulary that is not in accordance with the rules of Arabic in the Darussalam Gontor Islamic boarding school environment. Data were taken through interviews and observations of the author's observations. The research findings show that there is a shift in word formation in acronyms and blending. In addition, there are also various changes in the form of acronyms, elements of words that are combined in blending, and elements of words that are beheaded in clippings.
