Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to study the effect
of pine leaf as allelophaty on purslane germination. The
experiment were conducted at screen house Department
of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Brawijaya
University. The research is experimental design by non
factorial Completely Randomized Blok Design, with three
replications, consisted of eleven levels. Purslane seeds sprout with control treatment, signifi cantly different from seeds
sprout ability in treatment solution leaves Pinus merkusii 2000
ppm, and solution leaves of P. longaeva 2000 ppm. The result
showed that 2000 ppm of P. merkusii extraction signifi cantly
suppressed 46% of purslane germination whereas 2000 ppm
Pinus longeava extraction signifi cantly suppressed of 41%
campared to without any treatments (control).
