Abstract

Many educational institutions are unable to compete in improving quality, this is caused by low strategic management carried out by education managers and stakeholders. So that the output has not been able to meet the maximum needs and expectations for the community, where society in the educational paradigm is an important element of educational institutions. This study aims to prove the success of the management strategy of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ziyadatul Ulum Kambingan Sumenep in building an organizational culture within the madrasah environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a type of field research. The data in this study were obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are: madrasah strategic management in shaping organizational culture is carried out using the power distance and collectivism approaches. Meanwhile, strategic management includes formulation of objectives (formulating), division of tasks (job description) and decision making. The organizational culture that was successfully formed was a culture of cooperation, public relations and religion.
