Abstract

The application of digital literacy in the world of Arabic language education is very important in the era of information technology. Skills and access to information in the world of the cottage is a challenge for its students. This study aims to analyze the digital literacy skills of santri in terms of ability to use, exploration of benefits, challenges, and good strategies in integrating digital literacy into the Arabic language learning curriculum. The background in this study is that the digital literacy skills possessed by santri are far from being reached, the main challenges faced include access to technology, as well as the lack of teacher competence in effective approaches. Learning and teaching are adapted in the process of skill formation in Arabic curriculum teaching. The research methods include literature review, and descriptive qualitative on analyzing santri skills towards digital literacy in Arabic language learning. Data collection, observation, documentation, and interviews produce information. The results showed that digital literacy strongly supports the development of technology in Islamic boarding schools, as well as improving skills in learning Arabic in technology-based Islamic boarding schools.
