Abstract

Secularism that has spread in the world of education in Indonesia. The wrong attitude and way of thinking stems from the lack of continuity of scientific and religious literacy. The crisis affects the mindset and behavior in action, thus narrowing Indonesia's progress in sustainable development. One of the systems applied by Gontor in the Islamization of Science is dewesternization and integration formed by Hamid Fahmi Zarkasyi in preventing the spread of secularism and integrating Islamic values in pesantren education, including efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals on the fourth pillar, namely inclusive and quality education. This study aims to identify the implementation of Islamization of Science in Islamic boarding school education, the role of Diip Gontor and its influence on the goal of Golden Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data obtained through interviews and field observations. The results showed that the Islamization of science applied through pesantren education is relevant to the improvement of inclusive and quality education. This research is not only focused in pesantren education but has a significant pillar towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals towards a Golden Indonesia.
