INTEGRASI ILMU DAN ADAB DALAM PENDIDIKAN DIGITAL: REFLEKSI PERTEMUAN ZOOM DI PONDOK MODERN DARUSSALAM GONTOR
Abstract
Islamic education in the digital era faces great challenges in maintaining the values of sacredness and adab, which are increasingly eroded by the rapid development of communication technology. One of the main phenomena is the loss of ethics in digital communication, especially in virtual interactions. Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, as an Islamic educational institution, offers a unique approach by integrating knowledge and adab through the use of the Zoom Meeting platform in various gathering sessions with the leadership. This approach not only focuses on delivering academic material, but also on strengthening adab in interacting, both in person and digitally, maintaining the nobility of religious and educational values. This approach stands out because it combines academic learning with character building simultaneously, which is rarely found in digital education methods in other Islamic institutions. By promoting the integration of knowledge and adab, Darussalam Gontor emphasises that knowledge without adab will lose its meaning in shaping a noble person. This paper uses a reflective approach, with observation techniques and documentation studies, to examine how Zoom sessions with leaders strengthen the understanding and application of adab in education.
