Peningkatan Karakter Islami Melalui Metode Targhib Dan Tarhib dengan Pendekatan Ethnography

Abstract

Islamic character is a concept that includes moral and ethical values originating from Islamic teachings. By embodying these moral values, every Muslim can become a superior and dignified person. Besides that, every Muslim is expected to have an ideal mindset to live a good and right life according to Islamic teachings. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Targhib and Tarhib Methods in enhancing Islamic character. While the research sample used the Ethnography approach with a total of 100 respondents. For processing the data using the SPSS and SmartPLs application version 4. As a result, it was found that out of 100 respondents, most of the respondents' jobs were students. This study contributes to the ethnographic approach by examining the use of the Targhib and Tarhib methods to increase Islamic character. Not only that, nowadays Muslims are starting to apply the Targhib and Tarhib Methods in their daily lives.
