Abstrak

This study aims to determine government policies in overcoming the scarcity of cooking oil in Indonesia in 2022 and the implementation of maslahah mursalah against government policies in overcoming this scarcity. This research is a literature study that tries to explain the implementation of maslahah mursalah towards government policies in overcoming the scarcity of cooking oil in Indonesia through a descriptive analysis method that processes data qualitatively, so that it can produce answers about the implementation of maslahah mursalah towards government policies in overcoming the scarcity of Indonesian cooking oil. Results of research the first is that the government makes a policy of supplying cooking oil for the needs of the community, micro-enterprises and small businesses contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 8 of 2022, the policy of setting the highest retail price contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 11 of 2022, a temporary ban policy export of Crude Palm Oil, which is contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade number 22 of 2022.The second research result is the implementation of maslahah mursalah towards government policies in overcoming the scarcity of cooking oil in Indonesia in 2022 in terms of taking benefits and avoiding harm as well as fulfilling the conditions according to the principles of maslahah mursalah in making decisions/policies which did not occur at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW or there is no argument against it in the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma', and Qiyas.
