The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques, see notes and data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This Korean drama is directed by Yoo In-Shik and the script of the drama is written by Moon Ji-Won. The results of the research obtained are the character Woo Young Woo is said to have autism spectrum. However, he has extraordinary intelligence with an IQ of 164. This distinguishes between him and people with autism in general. So, it was concluded that the type of disorder Woo suffered from was spectrum Asperger's. Some of the symptoms of autism syndrome experienced by Woo are talking about one topic that he likes continuously, often repeating the same words, flat tone and voice like a robot, too fast in explaining things, not making eye contact and avoiding physical contact, less sensitive to the meaning of emotions and expressions of people around him, difficult to make friends, sensitive to light and noise, has difficulty coordinating movements, is a perfectionist, and has an above-average IQ.

Keywords: Language disorder, Korean drama, Asperger's syndrome, Psycholinguistics.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Sayyidaturrohimah Sayyidaturrohimah, Luthfiyyatin Niswah, Nur Ila Ifawati https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/10605 Imperfective Aspects of Non-Temporal Arabic in the Translation of Ar-Rahiqul Makhtum to Indonesia: Discourse Semantic Analysis 2023-11-28T15:25:46+07:00 Yasmin Afifah yasminafifah@mail.ugm.ac.id Moh.Masrukhi moh_masruhi@ugm.ac.id
Imperfective aspects of Arabic are often expressed with imperfect verbs or fiil mudhari, declaring past, present, and future tenses accompanied by lexical additions. This paper aims to reveal the imperfect aspect of non-temporal tenses in translating the book Ar-Rahiqul Makhtum. The theory used to mark the non-temporal narration by Hooper (1979) and developed by Hoed (1992). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data taken could be better in translating the book Ar-Rahiqul Makhtum. The novelty of this study lies in the non-temporal epoch of Arabic, which previous researchers have never studied. The non-temporal clause consists of precedence and background in declarative clauses. The results of this study are that imperfective aspects are often composed using imperfect verbs, which act as a background, and perfect verbs act as a foreground in Arabic. Imperfective aspects are expressed, both through verbs and nouns. These sentences produce single or multiple translations by paying attention to the realization of pronouns that produce complex sentences commensurate with the translation results to understand the discourse.

Keywords: Imperfective Aspects, Non-Temporal Tenses, Translation, Discourse Semantic Analysis.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Yasmin Afifah, Moh.Masrukhi https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/10769 The The Implementation of Mind Mapping in Arabic Speaking skills for University Students 2023-11-12T15:48:41+07:00 Ida Miftakhul Jannah ida idamifuinsa@gmail.com Hanifah Umi umihanifah@uinsby.ac.id Thohir Mohamad mohamadthohir@uinsby.ac.id
Abstrak

This study aims to describe the implementation of mind mapping in the learning process of Arabic speaking skills. This research is qualitative research conducted at the Arabic Language Departement (PBA) at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with a purposive sample of second-semester student. The results of this study showed, that the process of learning arabic speaking skills using mind mapping in PBA Sunan Ampel is carried out in two stages. The first stage is making a mind map based on the theme that they have listened. In the second stage, after the students have finished making the main idea in the form of the mind mapping, the students practice Arabic speaking based on themes listened and what has been written in mind mapping. The students were able to describe and present themes verbally properly, completely, and coherently with the help of mind mapping. This mind mapping is in the form of mind ideas which are written in curved lines, colorful, and using symbols coherently starting from the first idea to the end of the theme. With this mind mapping, students can easily tell the theme. But there are a few obstacles experienced by students whose vocabulary is still limited. The solution for students who still lack mastery of their vocabulary is by writing important vocabularies related to the theme being studied in each main idea written in the mind mapping. This way is well in helping them to describe and present the theme.

Keywords: Mind mapping, learning Arabic speaking skills (maharoh kalam), university student
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Ida Miftakhul Jannah ida https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/10792 Travel Writing of Carl Thompson in Jaulah Fi Rubu'i Asia by Muhammad Tsabit 2023-11-12T15:53:11+07:00 Siti Nur Suci Maulidia smaulidia627@gmail.com Zawawi Moh zawawi@bsa.uin-malang.ac.id
Jaulah fi Rubu'I Asia is a travelogue that presents Muhammad Tsabit's journey to a quarter of the Asian continent. His travel notes describe the culture, wonders, and uniqueness found in the countries he visited. The purpose of this study is to analyze the depiction of the world, especially in India, in the book Jaualah fi Rubu'I Asia, reveal the author's subjectivity to what he experienced during the trip, and reveal the culture of the author and the culture of the area visited and find out the author's reaction or response to the new locations he encountered. The researcher uses Carl Thompson's travel writing theory to study it, which has three basic concepts: reporting the world, revealing the self, and representing the other. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are in the form of quotations of phrases, clauses, or sentences in the book Jualah fi Rubu'I Asia. The data collection technique uses the read-write technique. At the same time, the data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman analysis model. The result of this research is that the world reported by the author is expressed through the depiction of culture in various aspects. In describing the culture, the author gives his subjectivity through the assumptions and feelings he expresses. Therefore, the author is classified as a romantic traveler. The author uses a colonial discourse strategy in his writing, where the other is both the inferior and superior party.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Siti Nur Suci Maulidia, Moh, Zawawi https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/10914 The The Reality of Learning Arabic Listening Skills at Pesantren-Based Universities from the perspective of Teaching Materials 2023-11-19T15:18:16+07:00 Muh Sabilar Rosyad sabielkadj@gmail.com Uril Bahruddin urilbahruddin@pba.uin-malang.ac.id Faishol Mahmoud Adam Ibrahim faisalmahmoud29@gmil.com
Abstract

This research is motivated by the tendency of pesantren-based universities in Arabic language learning which is still dominated by reading skills rather than listening skills. The aim of this research is to reveal the reality of learning Arabic listening skills in pesantren-based universities from the perspective of teaching materials including the distribution of courses, credit weights, lecturers, textbooks, objectives, methods, media, exercises, and obstacles to the use of teaching materials by students. This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach which conducted at Kiai Abdullah Faqih University. Direct observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation were chosen by researchers in collecting data sourced from stakeholders, lecturers and students. The data obtained was then validated using source triangulation techniques and then analyzed using interactive descriptive techniques. The results of this research show that the reality of learning Arabic listening skills in the Arabic language education study program at Kiai Abdullah Faqih University is still not running optimally. This can be seen from the unavailability of special teaching materials for listening skills, which has given rise to several fundamental problems including continuity, interconnectedness, cultural dimensions, and lecturer turnover.

Keywords: Teaching Materials, Listening Skills, Arabic Language Education, Islamic Boarding School.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Muh Sabilar Rosyad, Uril Bahruddin, Faishol Mahmoud Adam Ibrahim https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/10926 The Hidden Moral Message in the Hyperreality of the Novel 'Al-Bintū Allatī Lā Tuhibbu Ismahā' 2023-11-19T15:19:27+07:00 Nur Illiyyin Setya Mufti illiyyinsetya@gmail.com M Anwar Masadi masadi@bsa.uin-malang.ac.id Fika Burhan Tajalla 22201011028@student.uin-suka.ac.id
Abstract

This research aims to discover various moral messages within the series of hyperreality situations in the novel "Al-Bintū Allatī Lā Tuhibbu Ismahā" by Alīf Syāfāk. Hyperreality is a theory that deals with various states that are exaggerated compared to reality. Hyperreality is accompanied by various simulations. This theory was proposed by a French philosopher Jean Baudrillard. This concept is closely tied to the postmodern era and technological advancements in the age of globalization. This study is qualitative descriptive research that describes all the findings of its data. In this research, 8 depictions of hyperreality were found, namely: 1) Zahrah Sārdūniyā: A Strange Name, 2) Belief in the Myth of the Extraterrestrial Twin, 3) Imaginative Polar Bear, 4) The Strangeness of the Magical Globe, 5) New Friend from the Eighth Continent, 6) Winged Horses, 7) Fantasy Forest, and 8) Impressive Journey Experience. Additionally, 3 moral messages were also discovered, which are: 1) Self-love, 2) Thinking Before Acting, and 3) Don't Give Up Before Trying.

Keywords: Moral messages, Hyperreality, Simulations, Postmodern
2023-12-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Nur Illiyyin Setya Mufti, M Anwar Masadi, Fika Burhan Tajalla https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/lisanu/article/view/11152 Analysis of the Translation of Arabic Texts in the Book of Science: Balaghah Tarjamah Jauhar Maknun by Imam Akhdlori 2023-11-10T15:06:45+07:00 Gema Mutakabbir Gema Mutakabbir gems212228@gmail.com Supriadi Rinaldi rinaldisupriadi@upi.edu Nursyamsiah Nunung nunungnursyamsiah@upi.edu
Abstract

Arabic texts can be understood in their meaning through the process of translation which require specific techniques.
