Published since 2018 by the Comparative Madhhab and Law Study Programme of the Faculty of Sharia, Darussalam Gontor University. JICL adopts a double-blind peer review policy and focuses on various sub-disciplines of Shariah Science (Islamic Law) and Legal Studies, including:</p> <p>Fiqh<br />Ushul Fiqh<br />Fundamentals of Legal Studies<br />Civil Law<br />Criminal Law<br />Procedural Law<br />Economic Law<br />Constitutional Law<br />Administrative Law<br />International Law<br />Law and Society</p> <p>In addition to these fields, JICL also accepts manuscripts covering topics between law or Islamic law and other scientific fields such as legal sociology, legal anthropology, law and economics, and others.</p> <p>Since Volume 8 (2025) JICL is published three (3) times a year in April, August, and December. Each issue contains ten to fifteen (10 - 15) article manuscripts, either conceptual articles or research articles. JICL is published in Bahasa Indonesia, but English or Arabic manuscripts are also accepted. The acceptance of articles is open throughout the year.</p> <p>Currently JICL is in the process of reaccreditation with the latest accreditation status indexed in Sinta 5.</p> en-US
