Analisa Demografi dan Jaringan Penjudi Daring di Twitter Menggunakan Metode Social Network Analysis

Abstrak Penelitian ini akan membahas dan menjelaskan tentang bagaimana demografi dan jaringan para pemain judi online di sosial media khususnya Twitter, bagaimana modus mereka dalam menarik pengguna untuk mendaftar, dan siapa orang dibalik akun judi online tersebut. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang penulisan ini adalah maraknya kasus perjudian online di Indonesia yang tidak sedikit berujung penipuan.Ini terjadi karena menariknya modus para bandar judi online dalam menarik minat pengguna, terlebih lagi karena perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat sehingga banyak modus baru yang bermunculan dengan memanfaatkan media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dan teknik scrapinguntuk mendapatkan data dari Twitter.Hasil dari analisis data yang dilakukan adalah seperti apa jaringan mereka dilihat dari akun yang mereka ikuti dan akun yang mengikuti mereka, bagaimana tweet mereka mulai dari isi tweet, hashtag, bahasa yang digunakan, serta pola penggunaan foto profil. Abstract This research will discuss and explain the demographics and networks of online gamblingplayers on social media Twitter, how their mode of attracting users to register, and who is behind the online gambling account. The background of this issue is the rise of online gambling cases in Indonesia that not least leads to fraud. This is due to the attractive mode of online bookies in attracting user interest, further due to the rapid technological development of new modes that have sprung up using social media. This study uses literature study methods and scraping techniques to obtain data from Twitter. The results of the data analysis are what they see from the accounts they follow and the accounts that follow them, how their tweets start from the contents of the tweets, hashtags, the language used, and patterns of using profile photos. ÂReferences
