Using a quasi-experimental design and quantitative approach, 40 students were divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected through tests measuring Tajweed comprehension as well as observations of students' active participation and engagement. The results of the analysis showed that the strategy significantly improved student learning outcomes, with a mean difference of 1,800 points and a p-value of 0.001, supporting the effectiveness of the method. In addition to improving understanding of the material, the strategy also encourages active participation, collaboration, as well as the development of soft skills such as self- confidence and leadership. The findings confirm that innovation in participatory and interactive learning methods can overcome the challenges of traditional learning, particularly in religious education, and create a more engaging and meaningful learning atmosphere. The results recommend the application of this method to improve the quality of learning in religious and general education institutions.

Lutfina aribah, Ainun Amalia, Saiful Anwar Copyright (c) 2025 Lutfina aribah Lutfina aribah, Ainun Amalia, Saiful Anwar https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14466 Sun, 17 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Analisis Program Subuh Berkah untuk Membentuk Karakter Religius Mahasiswa Universitas Merdeka Malang https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14565
The phenomenon of moral degradation is increasingly prevalent among university students. This is evident in the rise of promiscuity, alcohol parties, illicit sexual behavior, and a general lack of tolerance both within and across religious boundaries. Universitas Merdeka Malang stands out as one of the few, if not the only, higher education institutions that is actively and systematically striving to foster students’ religious character through the Subuh Berkah (Blessed Dawn) Program.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Subuh Berkah Program in developing the religious character of students at Universitas Merdeka Malang. The research employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through triangulation.

The findings of the study reveal: (1) The Subuh Berkah Program has succeeded in shaping students’ religious character, particularly in the aspects of piety, sincerity, tolerance, non-violence, and discipline. Although the outcomes have not yet fully aligned with the religious character indicators outlined by the Ministry of National Education, the program is considered effective in fostering tolerant attitudes among students. (2) The implementation of the Subuh Berkah Program involves habitual practices such as congregational dawn prayers, collective remembrance (dzikir), religious study sessions (kajian subuh), group isyraq prayers, istighosah (supplicatory prayers), and communal breakfast. The program has received positive responses and strong support, especially from students’ parents. It has contributed to a more comprehensive understanding of Islam among students and has helped optimize the teaching and learning of Islamic Religious Education.
Moch. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of adolescents, parents, and PAI teachers. The study was conducted in Pegandan Village, Margorejo District, Pati Regency, on April 8–30, 2025. Pati Regency was chosen because it is one of the areas with the highest divorce rates in Central Java. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to describe the dynamics of post-divorce parenting patterns and the influence of parent-teacher collaboration on the success of adolescent religious education. The results of the study show that the success of adolescent Islamic Religious Education is not only influenced by parental parenting patterns, but also by the level of effective collaboration between parents and PAI teachers. Collaboration that is established in the form of intensive communication, agreement in instilling religious values, and emotional and academic support has been shown to strengthen the achievement of adolescent Islamic Religious Education, even in separated family conditions. This finding confirms the importance of synergy between the family and school environments in fostering adolescent spiritual resilience amidst the challenges of the Society 5.0 era.
Indah Ayu Mayasari, Muhammad Miftah Copyright (c) 2025 Indah Ayu Mayasari, Miftah https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14634 Mon, 04 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Pendekatan Penilaian Autentik dalam Evaluasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14679
Assessment plays an important role in evaluating student learning progress. The obstacles faced by teachers such as limited time and diversity of student characters can be overcome with creative and consistent affirmation strategies. The conclusion of this study is that positive affirmation plays an important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and strengthening students' emotional relationship with the Qur'an.

Keywords: Positive Affirmations; Tadabbur Qur’an; Love For The Qur’an.
Riyadatul Inayah, Fathorrozy Fathorrozy Copyright (c) 2025 Riyadatul Inayah https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14720 Wed, 06 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Strategi Pembelajaran Differentiated Instruction Untuk Mengatasi Perbedaan Kemampuan Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Pai Di Sma Ma’arif Nu Mambaul Ulum Pucuk https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14782
Differentiated learning is a strategy designed to adapt to differences in initial abilities during learning. With this approach, students are given space to develop their potential optimally. Thus, the role of teachers becomes increasingly crucial in adjusting learning strategies to meet the needs of each individual in the class. When conducting research observations, data is obtained in the form of a phenomenon showing that students there have different learning comprehension abilities. For that reason, teachers in that context, especially Islamic Religious Education teachers, innovate in learning by implementing differentiation strategies in Islamic Religious Education subjects. It is hoped that the learning process can provide experiences that align with the individual needs of each student, enabling them to develop their potential optimally. This study aims to determine the implementation and results of differentiated instruction learning to overcome differences in student abilities in Islamic Religious Education at SMA Ma'arif NU Mambaul Ulum Pucuk. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research data show that the implementation of this differentiated learning has a positive effect on students because they can learn based on their learning styles or preferences, and they create projects such as mind mapping or slide shows as a result of their learning. They also dare to present their work to build their confidence and skills.
Emilia Refianti, Siti Suwaibatul Aslamiyah , Nurul Azizah Copyright (c) 2025 emilia refianti, Siti Suwaibatul Aslamiyah https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14782 Sat, 16 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menanamkan Nilai-nilai Etika Islam pada Siswa Studi Kasus Pada SMP Al Wathoniyah 9 https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/14860
This study explores the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to instill Islamic ethical values in students at SMP Al Wathoniyah 9.
