People with autism, among others, have symptoms of difficulty interacting, communicating strangely, not caring about the surrounding environment, having their own world, and having difficulty accepting change. Therefore, they need accommodations in the learning process. Researchers use descriptive and qualitative methods to describe the data obtained through the use of interview techniques, documentation, and observation. Data analysis goes through stages in the form of data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is carried out using triangulation techniques. Based on research, PAI learning in children with autism at SLB Autisma Dian Amanah Yogyakarta is carried out by identifying and determining the specifications and qualifications for changes in student behavior, determining the learning approach system, establishing learning procedures, methods, and techniques, as well as criteria for learning success.
2024-02-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Difa’ul Husna, Fitri Nur Cholifah https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/11130 Tahsin Al-Qur'an Learning Method in Improving Al-Qur'an Reading Ability at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman Betara Tanjab Barat Jambi 2024-02-22T11:14:36+07:00 Martina Wulandari tina martinawulandari10@gmail.com
This paper aims to explore and analyze the tahsin Al-Qur'an learning method used at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman, Betara Tanjab Barat, Jambi, and its impact on improving students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of documents related to the curriculum and learning materials. The research results show that Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman has implemented various methods of learning Al-Qur'an tahsin which involve teaching the rules of recitation, pronunciation, and understanding the text of the Al-Qur'an. This method includes the use of experienced teachers, relevant learning materials, and various interactive learning techniques. The impact of applying this method is to increase students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an, which is reflected in their ability to pronounce the Al-Qur'an text well, understand the meaning of the text, and apply the rules of recitation correctly. This research concludes that the tahsin Al-Qur'an learning method at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Iman has been successful in improving students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an. However, it needs to continue to be improved with a more contextual approach, including the integration of technology and innovative learning methods to answer the demands of the times. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide guidance for madrasas and other Islamic educational institutions in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an tahsin learning.
2024-02-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Martina Wulandari https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/11548 Systematic Review: Meta-Synthesis of Implementation of Act No. 18 of 2019 on Pesantren 2024-01-23T22:00:47+07:00 Idam Mustofa idammustofa@unida.gontor.ac.id Saiful Anwar saifulanwar@unida.gontor.ac.id Moh. The objective of the research is to conduct a meta-synthesis of ten studies related to the implementation of the Act on Pesantren, highlighting aspects such as management, human resources, finance, curricula, facilities, and the role of Pesantren in society. The research method uses a qualitative approach in a systematic review with meta-aggregation techniques. Research results show that the Act on Pesantren has a positive impact, including official recognition of Pesantren’s graduates, protection against the uniqueness of interns, and empowering interns in raising the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia. Nevertheless, there are challenges such as ideological debates and variations in the implementation of the Act on Pesantren in various areas, mainly related to concerns about the loss of Pesantren’s independence.
2024-02-25T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Idam Mustofa; Saiful Anwar; Moh. The educational building stands strong and firm on a solid foundation of thought. This is where educational thinkers' urgency is in supporting these buildings' establishment. Not only related to the building's strength, style, and model is also very dependent on the style of thought of the characters. This research is a literature study or library research. Data were taken from related literature in books, journals, and various sources. The data is then processed and analyzed critically and in-depth using content analysis. The study results show that there are different perspectives on the principles of education according to Islam, represented by Hasan bin Ali Al-Hajjajy, and a Western perspective, represented by John Dewey. Each perspective gave birth to different styles and education models, so the products produced also differ.
2024-02-26T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Akbar Aisya Billah, M. However, in practice, there are still some educational institutions, particularly in madrasahs, that have not fully embraced a variety of teaching methods in the classroom instruction. Therefore, this research aims to explore the positive impact of implementing the snowball throwing method in enhancing the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at the Islamic Elementary School (MI) PSM Gedoro. The snowball throwing method is a collaborative learning approach that encourages group work and active discussion, with a focus on developing critical thinking skills. The method involves four stages: Planning, Socialization, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research results indicate that students who applied the snowball throwing method experienced a significant improvement in their critical thinking skills. This method also facilitates collaboration, problem-solving, and reflection, all of which play a crucial role in enhancing students' critical thinking skills.
2024-02-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Khusnul Khotimah, Muwahidah Nurhasanah https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/11429 Humanizing STEM-Based Learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for the Transformation of Islamic Education in the 21st Century 2024-02-19T16:38:43+07:00 Saehu Abas syaikhuabbas1993@gmail.com Agus Dian Alirahman agusdian@gmail.com Hajjin Mabrur hajjinmabrur@gmail.com
The development and progress of time always requires changes and innovations, including in the field of education and Islamic Education learning approach. Islamic education, rooted in divine revelation, relies on reason as its foundation—a realm extensively studied in neuroscience. This research aims to investigate the potential of integrating neuroscience and Islamic Education, giving rise to the scientific field of Islamic Education Neuroscience. The study employs a qualitative literature-based approach, analyzing various theories and adopting a grounded theory methodology to shape the research objectives. The findings reveal that Islamic Education Neuroscience, encompassing the epistemology of Islam, including bayani, irfani, and burhani traditions, already exhibits scientific validity due to existing studies. However, further scientific development necessitates internalizing scientific theories, substantiating them within the epistemology of Islamic Education, and fostering integration with other Islamic education disciplines. This research holds significant implications for achieving the comprehensive goals of Islamic education, harmoniously bridging the gap between general science and Islam. The envisioned scientific development of Islamic education presents a framework for deeper understanding and practical application of knowledge, in alignment with Islamic principles, contributing to human progress.
2024-02-28T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Jailani https://ejournal.unida.gontor.ac.id/index.php/educan/article/view/10296 The Urgency of Learning the Values of Worship in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 2024-02-19T16:02:40+07:00 Hepy Kusuma Astuti bundazhiya@gmail.com Saepul Anwar saepulanwar@unida.gontor.ac.id
The values of worship are very important to be instilled, especially in elementary school or Madrasah age children.
