Author Guidelines

Article in Gontor Agrotech Science Journal be written in English or Indonesian based on standard academic writing. Gontor Agrotech Science Journal published twice per year (June and December) covering many related subject such as such integrated farming, soil science, agronomy, plant cultivation, agrotechnology, plant protection, Islamic view in agriculture based and others. The article also can be short communication, review and original new concept on those related topics. Article written on format A4 paper size, time new roman 12, single space with normal margin, and maximum 10 pages. Manuscript written under following guideline:

Title, using bold and capital, fonts time new romans 12, align center and single space

Author, only original name without academic degree, font time new romans 10, single space following with affiliation in second line with email address

 Abstract, written both in English and Indonesia, font time new romans 10 with single space and maximum 250 characters.

Keywords, maximum 10 words, time new romans 10 with left align.

Tubuh laporan  ditampilkan dengan format rata kanan-kiri, ukuran huruf 12 dan spasi tunggal dengan bagian yang meliputi:

Manuscript body written with format justify, fonts 12 and single space with following:

1.     Introduction, consisting background, hypothesis, objective and benefits of the research/experiment including references study

2.     Material and method, consisting description of methodology including tool and material that has been used, also location dan experimental design.

3.     Result and discussion, description could be short and to the point including with argumentative discussion of result. Table and image in format JPEG or TIFF.

4.     Conclusion, conclusion from whole argumentative research and can be inductive from result and discussion.

5.     Reference, citation and arrangement of references are alphabetical following Boston system as examples:

7.     Author Fee (No Page Charge), Gontor Agrotech Science Journal is an open access journal. Authors should not pay some processing and submission fees for article processing (free of charge). Readers can read and download any full-text articles for free of charge. Authors may also pay some fees for the Ordered Original Reprint Articles.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
